IVY Metering IM-NE801A relays meet this requirement.


IM-NE801A (PCB) two-pole (2P) ac power relay is designed to switch EV charging applications on and off. Up to 3 mm contact gap provides better isolation, very compact form factor with low temperature rise and high power switching current up to 40 A/277 V AC. Smaller footprint than two single-pole relays for similar current rating adding design flexibility. The relay complies with European and US EV charging infrastructure standards such as IEC 62955, IEC 62752 and UL 2231. Widely used in EV charger, energy storage system, UPS, solar photovoltaic inverter, home appliance and industrial automation.

Product Application

AC switching elements are a crucial part of safety and protection function in charging stations and cables. Key parts of the IVY line-up are the 40A IM-NE801A 2 pole power relay and 60A IM601 bistable relay. Both types are availabe with a mirror contact according to IEC 60947-1 and VDE / TUV/UL approvals. They can be used in the latest generation of wallboxes which fulfill either IEC 61851-1 or the recent IEC 62955 norm. 

IM-NE801A relay is in accordance with IEC 60335-1 and has a common pin layout which makes this a relay that can be fitted for many existing applications and designs. It is a global relay solution with UL, CQC, TUV and VDE certifications.
