MD0630T41A is an automotive grade leakage current sensor also called residual current monitoring (RCM), residual current detection (RCD), differential current sensor, and fault current sensor. Dedicated to detect to Type AC, A, F, B and B+ leakage current measurement. It has the characteristics of high sensitivity, accurate measurement, small size and integration. When the set current is reached, an alarm signal is generated, and the switch control signal is output at the same time.
MD0630T41A is a differential current (DI) sensor specifically developed for EV-charging providing all-current sensitivity. The sensor can output signal in case of hazardous electrical faults (DC and AC) according to IEC 62955, IEC 62752 or IEC 61851-1. It is ideally suited for use with Electric Vehicle charging cables (Mode 2 Protection) and EV charging stations (Mode 3 Protection), and for fault current monitoring and electrical safety on EV charger. Residual current detection options for IEC based requirements are 30mA AC/6mA DC or both, and are 20mA AC & 5mA DC for UL requirements. It will protect against DC AC residual currents, and will signal to the Smart EVSE if a fault occurs. The RCM is an ideal protection device, for the detection of different leakage currents in applications of DC screen, Fire distribution cabinet, PV inverters, medical equipment, UPS devices, EV charging facilities etc.
