IM-NE801A is specially designed for the EU/USA Standard Charging Station to replace the traditional AC contactor and reduce the large space needed for installation. 

It's main features as follow: Continuous Current: 40A; with Contact Form:2A; Dielectric Strength Up to 4000VAC; Low Temperature Rise; Sealed Structure to Resist Harsh Environment; UL Certified, IEC61810-1 Compliant. The relay has short-time overcurrent characteristics, can withstand three times of 1000A 1ms overcurrent, and the contacts will not be damaged, and can continue to work normally to open and close.


MD20STA-C  is an AC/DC leakage sensor that complies with the UL2231-2 standard, and its leakage protection type is CCID20. The AC leakage protection threshold is 15~20mA, and the DC leakage protection threshold is 40×1.414=56.56mA. It also protects against mixed leakage current and high-frequency leakage. When the leakage current in the line reaches the above alarm threshold, it will output a leakage alarm signal (OC gate output). In addition, it has a self-test function, which can be used to determine in real time whether the sensor is in a normal working state. If the sensor fails, the self-test output terminal will not be able to output the self-test feedback signal (Open Collector Output), so this leakage sensor will be safer and more reliable in the field of leakage protection.

The main advantages of IM-NE801A lie in 1.5*2=3mm conntact gap:

Its contact distance can be up to 3mm, and the contact spacing of the general relay is about 0.8mm or 1.5mm. 3. Product Application

EV-Charging is carried out via wall charging stations (wall boxes) or by using charging cables with integrated electronics (IC-CPD). Products that are used here must comply with current standards such as IEC62752 for ICCPD mode 2 charging, or with IEC61851-1 for charging in accordance with mode 3 for wall boxes. These standards carry stringent requirement, for example with respect to the ability to withstand significant short-circuits.

IM-NE801A relay is two-pole power PCB relays that have been specially developed for e-mobility applications and the extremely strict short-circuit strength requirements of the associated standards like IEC62955, IEC62752 and IEC61851-1. The relay is approved at UL, CUR and TÜV with ratings of up to 40 A, with 20000 cycles @40A 230VAC on-off ratio 1s:4s resistive load 50000 cycles @32A 230VAC on-off ratio 1s:9s resistive load
