Wi-SUN, LoRa, and NB-IoT are all LPWAN technologies, which can be divided into licensed band (License Band) and unlicensed band (Unlicense Band). Normally, distance and speed are not compatible, but Wi-SUN can be deployed in a separate area or complement other IoT technologies through the integration of Mesh networking and active frequency hopping technology, reducing overall deployment and operating costs. At present, the maximum communication rate of Wi-SUN 1.0 in FSK mode can reach 300 Kbps. In the future, the OFDM mode of Wi-SUN 1.1 can reach 2.4 Mbps, leading the way among all wireless free frequency bands.
