What is DC Metering?
DC metering is used to measure, collect, and storage real-time data for DC systems. Energy professionals use DC meters to monitor power generation, and power usage, or to detect system faults to meet specific performance goals, reduce cost, or verify energy integrity in their facility. It is used in various industries such as solar systems, EV charging stations, battery energy storage systems (BESS), telecom towers, and data centers.
IVY Metering DC Energy Meters
1.There are 4 models of DC electric meter: 40-400V EM613001/ 5-1000V EM619001&EM619002/ 8-48V EM613005.
2.DC smart meter can measure of important DC parameters: voltage, current, power, energy, etc. EM619001/002 supports bi-directional measurement. All data in the meter are accessible via RS485 using Modbus RTU/DTL645.
4.EM series DC meters works with a DC power supply. Input voltage range up to 1000VDC, and current inputs are flexible with a DC shunt.
5.It can also be equipped with digital inputs for switch monitoring, relay outputs for remote control, and over-voltage alarm. It enables real-time monitoring of EV charging stations, with detailed insights including accumulated totals and historical data logs. It's compatible with high accuracy DC shunts, supporting inputs from 0A to 2000A.
