In the EV charging industry, the IVY company provide ev charger components for Mode 2.3.4(Level 2.3) charging stations. Here it is of great importance to ensure reliable and accurate measurements to enable the charging station to automatically output alarm signal when a hazardous electrical situation occurs(leakage currents/residual currents). IVY rcd sensor can monitor the charging current supply to electric vehicle and output a alarm signal if a smooth DC residual current of more than 6 mA. The product with both AC and DC detection can be seen as a combined type-A RCD compliant to IEC 60947-2-(M) and RDC-MD compliant to IEC 62955. These safety features have been evaluated by CE-EMC/IEC and enable the integrator to provide an already approved safety solution in their EVSE.
IVY has launched some EV charger parts, PCBA, which are mainly divided into five sections.
1.Residual Current Monitoring: EU standard Type B protection AC DC residual current sensors, MD0630T01A(PCB type), MD0630T41A(Cable&PCB type), MD0630T41A-1(Cable type), cost-effective RCD (AC&DC: MD0630STA-C/P, DC:MD36DA-C), and newest American standard UL2231-2 CCID20 RCD: MD20STA-C.
2.AC Relay: IM-NE801A 40A two pole DPST-NO / IM-SP401A 32A 40A single pole SPST-NO PCB power relay, and IM601 60A PCB latching relay.
3.Voltage Conversion: AC-DC power modules, three phase input; single/dual way output optional.
4.Current Measuring: 200mA~100A D129072 split core ac current sensor with UART and high accuracy 1(60)A PCB mount CT.
5.Energy Metering: EM613001(10~240A/40~400VDC), EM619001(Measuring up to 2000A, 5~1000VDC) DC Meter. EM118090(1PH 40A 230V)&EM519024(3*230V/400V 80A) AC Meter.
