Product Details

AC switching elements are a crucial part of safety and protection function in charging stations and cables. Key parts of the IVY line-up are the 40A IM-NE801A 2 pole power relay and 60A IM601 bistable relay. 

The IM-NE801A printed circuit board (PCB) two-pole (2P) ac power relay is designed to switch EV charging applications on and off. 3mm contact gap provides better isolation and allows for usage in higher elevation environments. The very compact form factor has a low temperature rise and heavy-duty power switching current up to 40A/277 Vac. This relay enables compliance with all EV charging infrastructure standards such as IEC 62955, IEC 62752 and UL 2231. 

IM-NE801A has a normally open contact gap of 3mm, which makes this relay VDE0126 compliant with European photovoltaic standards and meets the 4kV surge breakdown voltage between contacts required to be compliant with the EN61810-1 Industry standard.
