Product Details

AC switching elements are a crucial part of safety and protection function in charging stations and cables. Key parts of the IVY line-up are the IM-SP401A 32A SPST relay&IM-NE801A 40A DPST relay, and 16120-S/D 60A single/dual coil relay&19120-S 90A relay, all of which are PCB relays. They can be used in the latest generation of wallboxes which fulfill either IEC 61851-1 or the recent IEC 62955 norm.


IVY Metering has introduced IM-NE801A PCB relay designed for EV charging stations, energy storage system, solar inverter and industrial automation applications. With 40A/277 VAC ratings in a small form factor, the relay enables PCB space savings and ultimately smaller applications. The extended contact gap (>1.8mm) provides better isolation. IM-NE801A is specially designed for the applications in the charging pile industry to replace the traditional AC contactor and reduce the large space needed for installation. 


Its contact distance can be up to 3mm, and the contact spacing of the general relay is about 0.8mm or 1.5mm. In some ways this feature made contact between medium pressure can improve a lot, the higher the withstand voltage value, and also solve the problem of contact resistance increase rapidly, etc. under non-operation status it can avoid wrong operation or damage caused by external factors. which improves the tensile arc resistance of the contact and prolongs the service life of the relay.
